Common Volantis come in various colors, have an average
length of approximately 5 feet long including a 3 feet tail,
weigh about 200 pounds,and have a natural
lifespan of 10 000 years.
The common breed has an elongated body, similar to those
of the Asian dragons and/or ferrets and is very agile in the air,
it's best element. Volantis will rarely walk on the ground,
preferring to rest on clouds when tired.
They are often seen with a egg-shapped rock, but the reasons
as to why they carry this rock around is still unknown to this
day, though we suspect it (the rock) may have some sort of
magical abilities.
They were discovered by me while I was exploring the
Ming Mountains, wich is the highest area of the
Little Apple Heart Kingdom.
They were suspicious and little inclined to meet, but eventually
accepted my presence. I was then able to study them during
a moment and managed to gain their trust. I convinced some
specimens to accompany me to study them better, and then
I introduced them to the outside world. Only Volantis raised in
captivity have been adopted to this day, Wild Volantis having
no good potential of adaptation if they were not put in contact
with other species at the moment of birth.
