The Chin'Zo are a cross between a fox and a chamois.
They have lithe, compact bodies with long and powerful legs.
They are considered to be ruminants, even though they have similarties with the fox.
Their muscular force is not to be taken lightly, as they can lift things that are five times their own weight.
Females generally have one foal during breeding season, but when fed with the right fruits, can produce twins. There have been some rumors of triplets, though it's never been seen before.
The Chin'Zos are diurnal, meaning that they are mostly active during the day. They live in the North West of the Little Apple Heart Kingdom, sharing their grounds with the much rarer Ushikus, wich are nocturnals.
They love to eat grass, flowers and fruits found in the forests, but will sometimes eat the fruits found on top of trees with the help of the winged Chin'Zos. Their favorite meal would be the cloudberries, who seem to have particular effects on pregnant females.
Chin'Zos live in herds in the wild, and only few of them have left the security of their forests to come live with humans, but they easily get used to have an owner who takes care of them. They are very loyal, and once they get attached to a human, it's extremely hard to seperate them and is not recommended as they Chin'Zo could decide to return to it's forest rather than being owned by someone else.
